Bought a Canon camera through them - was cheapest in UK by £50++. Order processed quickly but they wanted a scan of my utility bill and/or passport which unfortunately took me an extra day to organise and delayed the order.
They did send me a tracking number, and the package was agonisingly close when the depot shut on the Friday - so we had to wait until the Monday.
Yes, the manufacturer's guarantee card had been removed but I am not going to worry about that. If the camera is to a non-UK spec, I cannot find the difference.
Would I buy from them again? Yes.

I was looking for a competative proice for a Canon 5D Mark III and these guys had one of the best on the web. However as a fairly new web-only company I was cautious about buying from them and it is easy to find horror stories online about companies selling grey-imports. However I shouldn't have worried, the service I received reflected the good experiences that others on here have also had. Communication was excellent and prompt, the goods came from a UK location and so were not a grey-import and the purchase was made through Google Wallet which offers buyer protection. The camera arrived less than 48 hours after I clicked 'BUY'. All in all a very rewarding experience, I would definitely shop here again.

I have to admit that I was hesitant at first buying from a Hong Kong registered company, (even though they have a UK office & warehouse), but I needn't have worried. I emailed them about their warranty & was assured that if a fault developed, I would return the camera to their UK office for repair. My purchase was more complex than most as I live outside of the UK, so had to get it delivered to a friend, who then brought it to me. Paying for it involved making a bank transfer, as I don't have a UK address. Although this made me nervous, I was given a 3% discount, a saving of around £70, which brought the camera down to £2419, which makes it the cheapest Canon 5d MkIII l have seen , given that it was complete with the 24-105mm Canon lens!
They emailed me the same day as I transferred the funds to say that they had received payment. My friend was only at his UK address for a 10 day period so I asked them to send it to meet that window. The camera arrived bang on target, so well done Procamera! When I got my hands on the camera it was indistinguishable from a UK spec, complete with ALL paperwork, including manual in English. I am delighted with both the camera & the prompt, courteous service shown me by Procamera so wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. If only ALL online retailers were this good!!

I've wanted to move up to full-frame for a while but haven't been able to justify the price, but because they sell imported products the price for the Canon 6D and Tamron 24-70 f2.8 VC lens that I was after were actually within my reach. Obviously, the site sells grey imports, they don't try and hide that, and you need to go through them for any electrical faults, so if that's an issue for you then obviously buy from a UK site or the shop. They do, however, ship from a UK warehouse (mine was posted from Carlisle, according to the UPS trace), which means that you don't have to worry about import duty, despite what other people claimed on here (I contacted them after looking through the reviews, and they confirmed with me that it would be sent from the UK).
I purchased using the bank transfer method, which I was a little uneasy about, but I know other people who have, and had no issues, and the extra discount on that kind of cost covers extras like memory and spare batteries (incidentally, these are much cheaper elsewhere). I was a little worried that after 10 hours I hadn't had any confirmation of payment, but upon contacting them and being reassured that it could take until the following morning I felt a bit more at ease. Credit where it's due, the amount of communication from Procamerashop was better than most businesses I've dealt with, and every stage from pre-order to payment to packaging to postage (and even after) I was informed as to what was going on, how much longer I should expect to wait.
Postage was via UPS next day, which meant that I ordered/paid on a Tuesday, and had both the camera and lens by Friday that week. The boxes were wrapped in thick bubble wrap within another box, which was more than I'd expected but meant the boxes also arrived in good condition.
As I've heard it's been an issue recently (across all the import places - I won't explain it here, little space, but it seems to be foul play regarding the serial number sticker), the first thing I did was compare the exif serial to the sticker and I found that to be identical, so no issues there.
All in all, there's nothing I can really moan about with procamerashop, I'm happy with the camera, the price and the service and communication given.

I regret to say I came to ProCameraShop as the most cynical cynic and I ordered from these guys with no expectation of satisfaction but, boy, was I wrong.

I was convinced that if it seemed to be to good to be true then it probably wasn't true, but guess what? It was true. The company delivered in a remarkably short time after picking up my order and kept me 100% informed as to progress and provided a link for me to track the order. The item, a 7d Canon, works perfectly so what more could I ask. After my horrible experiences with the borderline fraudsters at valuebasket this site was a veritable hurricane of fresh air.

You can use ProCameraShop with complete confidence if my experience is typical, and it does seem to be.

Can I just add it is a positively criminal injustice that the borderline fraudsters at valuebasket are still trading whilst this honest and efficient company were put out of business. Shame on all involved.

Like others on here, I was at first sceptical about using this company.
However, and again as many others have said, Excellent company to do business with. First class communication all the way through, price equally good, and saved at least £150 against the likes of Currys or Jessops, even a good £80 saving from the best that Amazon could do.
Will certainly use them again.

No issues whatsoever.

I am now concerned. I need to return my camera under warranty and the website is down...I see trouble ahead...

I bought a camera from procamerashop.co.uk because they had one of the lowest prices and they were reviewed very highly.

As I mentioned the price was great, but taking advantage of the discount for direct bank transfer payment, I got my camera for cheaper than I could get it from anywhere else.

The transfer did take a day or two to clear (due to banks, etc.) and once it was cleared the camera was on its way to me. I got the camera promptly and had no issues what so ever.

I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

I have been wanting to purchase a Sigma wide angle lens for a while but the original price (£450-£500) was putting me off buying one straight away. I saw that procamerashop was selling one for £308 and thought that the price is too good to be true. I read one review which said that procamerashop usually sells "grey market" goods, which means that Sigma (UK) will not honour the warranty for the item. I emailed procamerashop if they provide their own warranty, and they informed me that they do (1 year warranty I think). I am giving 5 stars as I received excellent customer service, but I don't know how it will be like dealing with them in case I need to have the lens sent back/repaired in case it is faulty. I am very pleased with how my purchasing experience with them went. I paid for the item by bank transfer to save almost £10 (admittedly, not a very large saving), but I advice that for peace of mind, potential customers should pay with card (Visa debit/credit or Mastercard) for that added protection in case your item does not turn up. I ordered it last Saturday and was immediately dispatched on Monday, and I received it today (Wednesday). Procamerashop also emailed me when the item was dispatched and gave me the UPS tracking number. There is information online which shows that this is a Hong Kong company, but I think that they get their stock from Hong Kong and there is an office/warehouse in the UK where the items are dispatched from. I am very happy with the service, but I still advice potential buyers to be careful, especially when purchasing the more expensive items.

Thank you for your excellent service. My son decided he would like a lens for his 21st birthday today but left it until Saturday to ask for this, thanks to you it arrived yesterday. Your prices were a good deal lower than I had found anywhere else and I suspected, wrongly, that you might be too good to be true. I had been sure he would have nothing to open on his big day but he has (and he has been taking non-stop photos ever since opening the box!).

I ordered the EF 70 - 200mmm f/2.8L IS ll USM at a significantly reduced price on Monday evening and in was in my hands at 9am today (Thursday). I honestly can't fault this company in any way. I spoke to the team on Wednesday and actually spoke to a knowledgeable person and they communicated every step of the process. The company might have ownership out of Hong Kong, but the item was shipped from the UK. The UK warranty card was not included, but read through the reviews for those unlucky enough to have had a problem and it was resolved very quickly, often with a new item.
If you were considering using this company but were a little unsure, don't be. This was the easiest transaction I have ever had on the internet. I am off now to play with my new toy..........................

Grey imports aside, I've now made two purchases with nothing but high-praise for the team at Procamerashop.co.uk. Why can't other British retailers transact business in this way? (Take note Oakea.co.uk and De cuisine)

As always, when looking to buy an expensive piece of kit I did my research to try and find the best price. Procamerashop came up with a price for a lens that was over £100 cheaper than the high street. Of course, this makes you wonder why they can offer such cheap prices, so I did some reading around. From what I can see, a lot of what Procamerashop sell are 'grey imports' i.e. goods from outside of the EU. Some people might worry that this means that you are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty - however, Procamerashop offer their own one-year warranty, which is the same as you would get from the manufacturer anyway. So when all is said and done, you are getting equipment that is substantially cheaper than the UK recommended retail price and that comes with an equal warranty. I've been really pleased with the lens that I bought from them. It was in full retail packaging and then securly packaged for shipping, which is from within the UK by the way, so you don't have any worries about paying import duties and taxes. Communication was great - they e-mailed me at every stage to let me know when the payment was cleared and when the item was shipped. It's little wonder that they have such good feedback on here. I highly recommend Procamerashop to anyone considering buying camera gear. You won't be disappointed, and you can put the money that you save towards buying some extra kit! I shall never pay high street prices again.
