Saved my night out

Saved my night out! The Joos power bank kept my phone alive through hours of pub-hopping. Compact enough to fit in my pocket. Only wish it charged a bit faster, but still a lifesaver.

Train station - quick and convenient!

My phone was on 2% when I was about to meet friends for dinner. I spotted the Joos station as I got off the train, rented a power bank in seconds, and was back to full battery by the time we finished our meal. So convenient and user-friendly!

I used it while I was at Bristol…

I used it while I was at Bristol Airport. It was written on the station that the fees were £ 2, however, they charged me £ 3.96. The customer service told me different rates which are more expensive than the ones written on the station. Also, it is not that fast

Such a great idea

Such a great idea! We were stuck in A&E with a poorly teenager with no charge on her phone- Joos was a lifesaver! Easy to use too.

Bad Experience and Misleading Pricing

I had a bad experience with Joos. While at an A&E, I used their power bank for a couple of hours, hoping to be charged £5 as advertised.

To return the power bank, I followed all the instructions both on the machine and on their website. The website mentioned I would receive an email once the item was returned, but I never received it.

Immediately, I contacted customer service through the chat. Although the response was quick, they were unhelpful and quite condescending. They claimed the item wasn't returned properly, despite me following the instructions to the letter. Instead of resolving the issue, they shrugged it off, implying it was my fault. Now, I’m facing a charge of £20 or £30 instead of the £5 I expected.

I would avoid Joos unless you are ok to pay up to £30. Their service is unreliable, and their pricing information is misleading.

Great help in time of crisis

Great help in time of crisis, was at hospital in a&e running very low on battery and my power bank was dead. Found Joos power banks to be fantastic and helpful. Had cables with it so didn't need to find any if you didn't have any.

Went over my 1 hour time by 5 minutes and contacted customer service and they refunded me £2.

Definitely recommend and would use again if I'm desperate or in a&e again ain't planning to be there again any time soon 😂😂

Damn scammers

Damn scammers. Thieves!!!! You will eventually get what you deserve!
You state £3 and you charge £5… you tipo people off £30 plus the £5 for your ciñese made rubbish charger and then claim ppl don’t return it!!!

SCAM

Bought for 24 hrs… charged my phone for a few hours and the power bank died. spoke to customer service and you only pay for possession not charge. it state nowhere online customer service completely useless

When you put a joos bank charge in a A,E in a hospital I had concussion cracked ribs put pack back wrong and got charged £30 being a pensioner with head injury no one with me as I'm a widow nurse helped me get a pack no body helped me put it back when I got called for so I just put in return slot not fair £5 to rent £30 because head injury no one helped me when I got in touch said it was my fault,its a company with no compassion

Used it while unexpected visit to a&e, it took over 1.5 hours to get my phone to 40% from 10% so I thought we'll I've gone over the 1 hour for £3 I will just use it until my phone charges (under 24 hours for £5) After 1.5 hours the power bank died. I expect this is good for use where someone has a power bank charger available but for use in an a&e dept where no one is prepared with a charger then not so cost efficient as £5 for 1.5 hours and had to pay another £5 for another charge to get it to 90% that lasted 1.5 hours til the power bank died. Good product but very costly to consumer if no access to a power bank charger
