Irish Tours for You is first class. First, we had wonderful accommodations and restaurants everywhere we stayed. Our drivers/guides, Gerry and Robbie, were so knowledgeable and entertaining. I had to ask Robbie if he was a history teacher because he knew the entire timeline of Ireland’s history. (Lots of “bits and bobs” about Ireland as we traveled.) He kept us all on schedule and no one got lost! Secondly, I felt we definitely saw the “nooks and crannies” of Ireland, because of the many places we stopped at for breaks as well as planned tours. Everything was scenic and lovely. The Irish are the friendliest people I have ever encountered, too. Our travel-mates were sweet and fun to be with. I’m glad we did the small group. It was the way to go for us. We have made some life-long friendships with a few of them. Lastly, I appreciate all that Mary, agent at IRFU, did to help our trip be a success. She was on top of all my emails and answered all my questions thoroughly. I hope in the future we can plan another delightful adventure with Irish Tours for You.

There were 13 like-minded people on board. We have no interest in a 53-person bus - the logistics must be awful - check-in, check-out, baggage, meals.
Our driver, Gerry McKeon, navigated the impossibly narrow roads with ease and impressed us all with his knowledge of Ireland, EU and US. He took us to out-of-the-way venues and excursions that we never would have found on our own. He made the trip extra special.

Our recent trip to Ireland was FANTASTIC, thanks to Irish Tours For You! Catherine was wonderful to work with - we had a group of 6 longtime friends (3 couples) and none of us had been to Ireland before. We had some ideas on what we wanted to do and see during our 14-days in Ireland, and Catherine took our list and put together a dream trip. We had a great mix of hotels - some traditional Irish luxury, some modern, a spa on the beach, and even a castle! Each was a treat to stay in, and every day included a nice, made-to-order breakfast (not just danish & coffee)! We not only got our perfect 14-day itinerary, but also suggestions for each day/location of what sights to see, things to do, and dinner suggestions. We were sent information well in advance on what to expect with respect to weather, temperature and even what to (and not to) pack.

We knew we didn’t want to tackle driving in Ireland, so we requested a driver/tour guide for just our small group. Turns out the driver assigned to us - Lloyd was THE BEST! We hit it off right from the start - by the end of the first day Lloyd was one of us. He had our itinerary and not only took us from point A to point B, but gave us suggestions for lunch at locally owned restaurants, and suggested points of interest/places to see. We were able to experience the Irish National Stud & Gardens, Killarney National Park/Waterfalls, Dingle Sheepdogs, Celtic Steps Show, Shannon Ferry ride, Killary Fjord Boat Tour, Kylemore Abbey & Walled Gardens, The Grianan of Aileach, and even stopped in to see Royal Portrush Golf Club (which held the 2025 British Open). Lloyd wasn’t just driving us, he was giving us the history of so much of what we saw, and stories about the places that he knew so well because he grew up in CORK!! We could not believe how well he knew the entire 1300 mile route driven on our tour!

Along the way, Catherine checked in on us to see how the tour was going, and made sure we knew how to get in touch with her, if any problems occurred. That was a great comfort to us. From the time we arrived in Dublin, until the very last day, after circling the entire country, we never had a problem! All accommodations were booked perfectly for us, right down to our tee times at Donegal Golf Club! Thank you Catherine - we could not have done this without you!!

We traveled with 8 family members on a 6 day private tour with chauffeur. From the first email to Sheila to the last email, she has been so helpful and professional throughout the planning stage and when we were actually on our trip. She gave us helpful hints and guidance to ensure our trip was the best it could be. There was one issue we had, no fault on the company, but she took responsibility of the issue and had it resolved quickly and efficiently. This was the best trip, thanks to Sheila.

Competent tour staff, fabulous locations and friendly, helpful and accommodating people everywhere we went! Highlights included the woollen mill and castle (including a beautiful 60 acre garden) at Blarney, the Mary Gullivans historic cottage and the 5 Star Kilronan Castle.

Between our travel advisor, Odhran, and our driver, Tony, every step of our trip was handled with the most care and personalization! My mom and I just got back from a private chauffeured tour of Ireland, which we’ve been planning for roughly 9 months. I was nervous to use a tour company, but I would choose Irish Tours for You a HUNDRED times again. Odhran and I have been coordinating for months and he graciously answered every one of my questions, helped plan the perfect itinerary based on what sites we wanted to see. He was so thorough in every detail and so kind throughout the whole process.
Our driver, Tony, was just as thoughtful and caring as he drove us around Ireland and provided a wealth of information about each stop along the way. He took care to be conversational when the time called for it and to give us our own space to explore as well. It was the perfect balance, and we were sad to part with him on our final day.
The trip itself was absolutely perfect! We saw castles, went to pubs, drove around the Dingle Peninsula and other scenic areas, toured the Dublin Trinity College Library and viewed the Book of Kells.
Ireland is such a gorgeous country with rich history and beautiful views, whether you’re taking in the natural scenery or impressive architecture. We were a group of 6 adults vacationing in Ireland. We were glad we chose Irish Tours For You. Sheila was extremely helpful every step of the planning process. We chose to do a private tour with a driver/guide. Our driver/guide, Mick, took us places, showed us things and gave us experiences we wouldn't have got to on our own. His contacts and connections with the locals made our visit unique. Our trip started in Dublin and continued south and west through Kilkenny, Dungarvan, Midleton, Blarney, Cork, Cobh, Killarney, Dingle, Athlone and back to Dublin. 13 of us traveled to Ireland for 10 days and I worked with Irish Tours For You! We recently traveled to Ireland with Irish Tours for You, and our experience was outstanding. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our driver and tour guide, David Flanagan. On our first day, we were surprised to learn that he had just picked up our itinerary the day before – a last-minute schedule change with our original driver allowed this – but what a blessing that turned out to be. David was an absolute joy. His deep knowledge of and tremendous pride in Irish history kept our entire family – ranging from adults down to our children ages 6 through 18 – fully engaged throughout the week.

From the start, David picked us up in a coach that was well beyond our expectations, roomy and very comfortable with many options for moving around and even playing cards on a table in the rear as we covered miles of roads with kids who can so easily bore during a long drive. David was on the mic regularly, telling us history and teaching us about the sites we were seeing, regularly providing us options on what we could do to fill our days while seeing as much of Ireland as we could while we were with him. He helped us fine-tune our schedule, especially around golf, which was an important part of our trip. One of our tee times was not at an ideal time, and Irish Tours for You was able to step in and secure us a change at the very popular, hard-to-get-into club – something we hadn’t expected them to be able to pull off, and we were so grateful. For our second of two golf adventures, David and his incredible network of fellow drivers helped us select a beautiful and challenging course that fit our last touring day well, keeping road hours minimized, and we were able to book it on the fly, with just a few days’ notice.

While we never met anyone from the agency in person, our communications with Sheila and Elizabeth were always pleasant, helpful, and professional. Still, the heart of our trip was the week we spent with David. He not only guided us during the day but also shared a few evenings of laughter and conversation when we happened to cross paths after hours. His warmth, humor, and expertise made our time in Ireland truly unforgettable.
