I ordered a Resmed mask online and received the wrong size. When I called in they told me I could not exchange it because of Covid-19. Their customer service rep Janette was rude. She said I should have read the fine print on the shipping and returns page. Really? How about putting that message on the payment page in big bold print? I did not even open the sealed package. She did apologize or offer a discount. $115 down the drain. Poor website and terrible customer service. They lost a potential customer for life. Find another reputable company.

Money hungry scammers

My future son-in-law ordered a product from this company. He accidentally ordered the wrong size and immediately contacted the company to exchange it for the correct size. Once they received the product back they claimed that the package was opened and that he had to pay them for him to get the product back. He sent the product back exactly how he received it. This company is nothing but a money hungry scam.

Ordered the wrong size mask it was never sealed to begin with they said return it for an exchange i did that now they said it was opened and it wasent i got it the same way they shipped it now they wont Exchange it and they want me to pay $5.99 to send the same one back thats the wrong size im very unhappy about this and would never recommend them

Scammers

My fiance ordered a C-Pap mask. He accidentally ordered the wrong size and requested to exchange it for a different size. He was told that he could as long as he sent it back in the same condition that it arrived. He sent it back the exact way he received it. He received an email stating that the package was opened and that he had to pay them to ship it back to him. why would he want something that he could not use? I would never recommend this company to anyone. We will be contacting our bank in the morning to get his refund as well as contacting the attorney General about this company's scams.

I ordered a cpap mask from Help Medical I cut the top off the package and realized I ordered the wrong mask. Sent it back. No Refund. Sent an email. Got one back from " Colleen Van Auken saying they don't refund on an opened item. I said send it back and I will shipping. Email to call them came. I did the last person I talked said they return nothing!! I could not get the mask back or a refund. They steal the mask and keep your money. The WORST company I ever dealt with. Thieves!!!!

I had no idea how to use my mask and…

I had no idea how to use my mask and cpap machine when I first got them. Rosti at Help Medical Supplies was my hero. He sat with me and went over every aspect of the mask and machine, far beyond the instructional booklets. I was so proud that the second night I could use it for for 9 hours. Rosti was ultra patient and informative. There was not a question he could not answer. He was totally supportive and eager to help. I do not believe you could find anyone with a better attitude. He obviously loves his work.

I was travelling to NY and one of my…

I was travelling to NY and one of my components was lost in transit.
I reached out to Help Medical and Rosti responded by quickly confirming my specific needs and outlining a plan to have the component delivered to my hotel in time for my stay.
A good nights rest was crucial to my business meetings the next day and Rosti was able to make that happen.
I really appreciate the first class service.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. Would not take a return when I was told by a store employee that we could try the item and return it. It was a backpack for a oxygen machine.

Shipped wrong product, calibrated incorrectly; won't replace/refund; rude/argumentative phone call.

This company shipped me a product that was not what I ordered. It was the same brand and product name, but it was the "portable" version of the CPAP with no humidifier. It was, in fact, so similar that I did not notice the difference right away.
I started using it, and the air flow was so awful that I could not keep it on for more than a few hours at a time. (I had used a different machine successfully in the past, so it's not that I was unaccustomed to using a CPAP mask.) I had to bring it in to my medical provider and they determined that the settings were not what had been specified in the prescription.
When I contacted Help Medical Supplies, they said that because the item had been used, it could not be returned. There was no apology and absolutely no acknowledgment that THEY SENT ME THE WRONG THING. I could understand not accepting, for instance, a used mask... but this is a machine. It could be used by someone who actually wanted a portable CPAP. As it is, I am out $580. Very disappointing and frustrating.
UPDATE: After I was told I could not return the product, I emailed "Colleen," saying, "Thank you for the clarification. I think your company is dishonest and has shameful business practices. The machine you sent me was not only not what I ordered, but it was not calibrated properly. I will be sharing my experience and this opinion via social media." I then got a phone call from a representative of the company who proceeded to ARGUE with me and RAISE HER VOICE, implying that I was stupid for not having compared the picture on the website to what I'd received. Even if that were true, how is that helpful?! "If you'd woulda called us, we woulda corrected it," she said. This woman then said, "COLLEEN TOLD ME YOU WERE GONNA GO ON THE INTERNET AND SLANDER US." Really?! Oh my God. She hadn't even bothered to go online and see if I'd written a review. If she had, she'd have seen that EVERYTHING I SAID WAS TRUE. Dropping this down to one star because of the completely clueless customer service.
(If I'd been in the position of the company, I would have said, "We are so sorry to have shipped the wrong item. Unfortunately the product cannot be returned because it has been used. However, we understand that the error was ours to begin with, and we would like to offer you a $___ credit, or a ___% discount on a replacement product, as an apology.")

It took them 5 days and several…

It took them 5 days and several unanswered emails and calls before they finally returned my call after I left a message threatening to cancel my order on my Resmed Airsense10 Auto before they called me to say they were going to expedite the shipping on that day. So it took me a week to get my machine. Their web site says they send next business day and will send you an email with all the shipping info. This did not happen in my case. Then when I got it it doesn't have an SD card. I call them and they were very rude about saying manufacturer doesn't include it anymore and what's included is listed on their cite. Also, my machine is not communicating with the myair technology which is one of the reasons for purchasing so I wouldn't have to take things to my doctor. The person at "Help" was very unhelpfull. Maybe, because I'm from the south I expect a little friendlier communication even when it's something you can't help me with and also expect calls and emails to be responded to. If you also expect these things when you purchase items you might look elsewhere.

Warranty, terms and conditions.

I bought a certifies refurbished portable oxygen concentrator with a one year warranty. It arrived with several items missing (external battery, straps, cannulas). Once notified, they did promptly ship the missing items. I used to POC on several occassions, but it didn't increase my oximeter percent. I tried several times, then took the POC to have the oxygen purity measured at a local medical equipment facility which found it to only generate oxygen in the 70-78% range - woefully inadequate. Once contacted, Help Medical claims my warranty is void since I took the machine to an outside vendor. So I'm just screwed.

Refreshing Experience

Jeanette was extremely helpful in getting my Travel CPAP ordered and shipped out pronto. It was refreshing to work with someone who did not need to follow the book and treat you like a number. She gave me multiple options to get the necessary paperwork to her and responded promptly when I did to confirm the receipt.

So far the CPAP has worked as expected. Shipping and packaging were excellent. Based on this sole experience, Help medical delvers on their product and service.

Good company to work with.

Good company to work with. This was the first time I've ordered a CPAP online. The salesperson,Rosti Tsirulnik, was personable and knowledgeable. Their prices are very competitive. The process from order to delivery was trouble free. I received email notifications in a timely manner. I would recommend this vendor to anyone.

Rude, unknowledgeable and unprofessional

Avoid this company if you need an expensive product like a non invasive ventilator as they only accept wire transfer, leaving you with no protection and leverage at all. They only accept unopened product for return which is ridiculous as how would you know if it is functional or not without opening the box?? On top of that, if you are lucky not opening the box, a 20% restocking fee will be charged.

I ordered a Trilogy 100 as my mom is in need of the ventilator. She has never used any ventilator but her doctor prescribed this machine.

First, when I asked them whether a mask is required, they said no and only cannula was required. When I received the product, I found I was unable to use it without a mask. Then I ordered the mask from them. I thought that would be all I need and nobody told me a tubing was required until I found out that I was still unable to use it without the tubing. Given the back and forth and their errors, I decided to return the never used / completely new ventilator. When asking about the return, I was told it cannot be returned as the box is open.

The respiratory therapist Alex is very rude, unknowledgeable and unprofessional with no empathy. He kept saying that I did not order the mask from them, which I did! And he kept saying that "most people buy the tubing and mask before the machine" to blame me for their mistakes.
