I recently had a fantastic experience with Optical Express. I was so well looked after throughout my laser eye surgery and cannot recommend them enough. I must give a special thank you to Sophie for guiding and supporting me through the whole process and another very special lady (I didn’t catch her name) who was on the other end of the phone at 2am when I was struggling! My surgeon was also fantastic. Thank you to the team ❤️

I was in the St Enoch store being seen by Shona and Yvonne.
The visit went well and they were very accommodating especially since I was late.

My mum went into the branch within Paisley Piazza and was helped by a lovely girl called Holly. She was delighted with the service received and would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended

I entered optical express with a great deal of pain in my left eye having been turned away from Specsavers despite their duty of care.

The manager Donna couldn't have been better and adjusted their diary to get me seen despite the fact they didn't have to.

Ahmed the optometrist was also very good.
The deduction of one star is for the jump of £1500 for a different lens in my right eye to correct astigmatism that I was unaware of. Just cant get my head around that, seems unrealistic. Have decided to go ahead due to service from above mentioned staff.

For over twenty years I've used contact lenses and glasses and was totally fed up using them. I contacted Optical Express at the centre in Edinburgh and went along for a consultation. My eyes were scanned and checked using multiple machines then I was seen by Rose the optometrist who explained the process and completed further tests. I was then booked in to have surgery on the 23rd July 2026. I arrived at 1000 and was back walking to my car (Wife was driving) by about 1145. The procedure was carried out in a state of the art theatre and i was very well looked after. I felt no discomfort or pain during the procedure at all. The only issue I had was I found the light too intense after the procedure which is expected. I attended at the clinic again the following morning for my new lenses to be checked and I was cleared to drive. The difference in my eyesight even whilst still healing, is incredible. An expensive process but if you think of the money you will save on contacts and glasses over the years and for far better vision its well worth the money.

Throughout the process to staff members were very polite and informative as are the emails with information videos prior to the procedure and the videos after, detailing what to expect with the healing process etc.

I would highly recommend.

Very happy! I want to thank Beta and the team at optical express in haymarket. I was a bit tentative about the process before but it couldn’t have gone smoother. It’s now been a month since I had the surgery and I couldn’t be happier.

I had a consultation to see about potentially getting laser eye surgery and everyone who was there were absolutely love and friendly, special thanks to Carie as she went above and beyond and she was super reassuring and very friendly and an overall star, couldn't give more praise for how I was treated which is appreciated as someone with autism and anxiety, overall lovely experience honestly from everyone there

I had an excellent consultation at Optical Express in Bradford with my optometrist, Qais, and patient advisor, Sadaf. From the moment I arrived, they were both welcoming, approachable, and professional, making me feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment.

They took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly, so I never felt rushed or hesitant to ask anything. Their knowledge and patience really helped me understand the procedure and what to expect.

What gave me the most confidence was hearing about their own personal experiences with laser eye surgery. It was incredibly reassuring to receive advice from people who had actually been through the same journey themselves, rather than simply explaining it from a professional perspective. Their first-hand experience made the consultation feel genuine and authentic, and it gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed to move forward.

Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I would highly recommend Optical Express Bradford to anyone considering laser eye surgery.

Went in to fix my sunglasses today. Helped by Caitlin, fixed them with no charge. While waiting I had lovely conversations with Sharron, Donna, Gayle and Tegan. Coming up for my eye test and will definitely be coming here! Such friendly and helpful service.

Susan, the consultant in the Paisley branch was absolutely amazing.
She listened to my concerns that were dismissed by another competitor optician chain. She identified a foreign object lodged under my upper eye lid and saved me from the pain and eye damage couod have been caused.
Every staff member was attentative and knew how to do their job efficiently.
My to go optician from now on.

Lens replacement surgery .
From day 1 I have been more than happy to deal with optical express, ALL the team are so very friendly I had all my appointments at the Brighton branch and my procedure at Dartford, Dr Amir Mani was so caring and reassuring throughout, the team at Dartford were also so very friendly and made me feel quite relaxed as I was quite anxious having previously had a pterygium ( which is an extremely painful procedure)removed several years ago on the NHS. At every appointment in Brighton the whole team which are Adam, Ollie, Lee, Danielle, Dilara and Bobby made me feel very welcome and we all had lovely chats and laughs ,not clinical at all , tea coffee and biscuits always on hand, so sorry to be signed off as I will miss them all, thank you guys for giving me my eyesight back , I would recommend this procedure with optical express as would my husband who had this done with them 8 years ago and never looked back ( pun intended) . Thank you guys for giving us our eyesight back xx

It's my first time to have a consultation for a laser eye surgery. Harleen and saarah explained the process and did check up on me. Making it easier to understand and have an idea in what I will be in for. It was a great experience for me. Thank you 😊
